Our school R.K Senior Secondary School provides a healthy environment to all students regardless of their disability. One of our bright student Vanshika Srivastava who lost her eyesight in her childhood scored 76.6% in 12th board exams.
My school is not meant for the cws students which requires too much of special care but when I saw her I took her admission in class 11th of my school. That time her father was very depressed that there is no school giving us permission to take admission then I said no problem I can give her admission but I don’t know what other things are required because earlier she studied from NIOS . So we required a person who could give us proper guidance on how to treat her. As we didn’t have any experience with such kids, so an NGO person came to us and told us that she is ok, you only need to take care of her while walking and all other physical activities. She has a capability to learn. So whenever our teachers were teaching her she made up a recording and then she continuously listened and mugged up all the things thoroughly. She has a very depth knowledge of every particular subject. My teachers were always present there while she was walking and going anywhere. She also participated in a science exhibition on Geography practical and she made up a model on that. That model and this girl were facilitated and received so many compliments from the regional Science City director. He told that she is a child who gave the answer of that particular question which even science students are not capable enough to give. I personally feel that she is like my daughter and I did whatever I could do for her. Even in future I will be present whenever she needs me. Our school now have so many students like her and our director ma'am is very passionate to receive such kinds of children and want to build their future perfect.
